JumpCloud - Security Engineer - Current
As a Security Engineer, I have led the design and implementation of secure, scalable infrastructure and tooling across AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD ecosystems. I built a Kubernetes-native TTL controller to enforce resource expiration policies, co-developed an HSM-backed cryptographic signing service with full auditability, and spearheaded a secrets management migration from GitHub Actions to AWS Secrets Manager with branch protections for improved compliance. My work includes creating privilege escalation tooling with strong audit trails, integrating SIEM and real-time alerting via Sumo Logic, and enhancing vulnerability detection pipelines for faster remediation. I have established standardized CI/CD infrastructure for security tooling, developed data pipelines for telemetry and alert enrichment, and automated SecOps investigations to reduce analyst workload. By introducing data engineering practices into security operations, I have driven a shift toward data-informed decision-making, enabling faster incident response, improved security hygiene, and streamlined developer feedback loops.
JumpCloud - Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, I built and maintained cloud-native data platforms in AWS using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS SAM to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure. I developed a Kafka-based ingestion pipeline with Debezium and Kafka Connect to process RDS Change Data Capture (CDC) events, enabling near real-time analytics and seamless downstream integration. I designed a schema migration CI/CD pipeline that streamlined data warehouse updates, reducing errors and accelerating deployments. My work included provisioning and monitoring high-throughput pipelines with Airflow, SQS, Kinesis, Kafka Connect, and Logstash, ensuring uptime and observability with DataDog. Tesla - Engineering Technician
As a Lead Automated Systems Technician and Lead Process Engineering Technician, I drove process optimization, workflow standardization, and system automation to support engineering and manufacturing teams. I led and trained cross-disciplinary teams, developed Python-based backend solutions, designed microservices, and built ETL pipelines to deliver reliable data insights. My work reduced process support response times from 3 hours to 15 minutes, implemented a toxic part detection system that cut repeat process incidents by 70%, and improved technician documentation utilization from 0% to 60%.
